Join the National Climate Demonstration
Join us on the streets in Dublin on November 14th to reclaim our future!
- When: Saturday 14th November, 1pm
- Where: Garden of Remembrance, Dublin
We all felt it – the hottest summer on record. Destructive storms and flooding hitting communities all over Ireland.
We all saw it – wildfires ravaging Europe. Devastating floods in Nepal.
We all know it – our warming planet is becoming less safe.
And Ireland’s response? Rather than upgrading our energy, housing and transport systems to tackle rising costs, phase out fossil fuels, and reduce pollution, our government is hiking public transport costs and paving the way for more energy-hungry data centres and new fossil gas terminals .
Meanwhile, communities on the frontlines around the world are paying the price for a crisis that they did not create.
War and conflict continue to devastate lives and ecosystems. Greedy corporations reap record profits while people struggle just to make ends meet.
This is deeply unjust.
On November 14th demonstrations and marches will take place across the world during the COP31 global climate talks. This is our chance to join together, stand up and speak out.
So dust off your placards and join us on the streets for the National Climate Demonstration in Dublin to raise your voice for stronger climate action!

Last November, thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin to demand faster and fairer climate action from our government and an end to our dependence on fossil fuels.
This year, we're coming together once again to make our voices heard. Let's make this the biggest climate demonstration we’ve ever seen in Ireland!
This demonstration is organised by Stop Climate Chaos - a coalition of over 40 organisations, of which Oxfam Ireland is a proud member.
