Recruitment Process

1. Find a role that is right for you!

Click on the job you are interested in to complete an online form, view job description and start the application process.

2. Complete job application

Fill out the online application, please ensure that you demonstrate how you meet the criteria specified in the advertisement by providing specific examples and dates.

3. Shortlisted for interview

Our HR team will contact you to invite you to attend an interview, this could be in person or online (usually via Teams).

4. Interview

Prepare for your interview! Take a look at the job description and learn a bit about Oxfam. All our interviews are competency based unless differently specified in the invite to interview.

For retail jobs, we highly recommend that you visit one of our shops as some questions will be based on this.

5. Job Offer

After rounds of interviews, successful candidates will be contacted within a week with a job offer and details of our pre-employment checks. These include a minimum of two satisfactory references (including your current/most recent employer), right to work checks, anti-fraud and corruption screening and Access NI (if applicable).
