Oxfam Ireland – Second Hand September Giveaway Terms & Conditions

 

1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Oxfam Ireland, [Charity Regulatory Authority number 20009946, Company Number 284292. We are also registered in Northern Ireland. 2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of Oxfam Ireland, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, you must sign up to participate in Oxfam Ireland’s Second Hand September via the official sign-up form on our website before 23:59 on 31 August 2025.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
  • Only one entry per person will be accepted.

4. Prize
One winner will receive:

  • 3 × €100 Oxfam Ireland shop vouchers (one for the winner and two for friends).
  • A personal styling session for the winner and two friends at their nearest Oxfam Ireland shop.
  • Exclusive invites to Oxfam Ireland’s Second Hand September events.

5. Prize Conditions

  • Vouchers are valid only in Oxfam Ireland shops and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Styling session date and shop location will be arranged between the winner and Oxfam Ireland.
  • Event invites are non-transferable.
  • Oxfam Ireland reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
  • The draw will take place within five working days of the competition closing date.
  • The winner will be contacted by email or phone within seven days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Oxfam Ireland reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity

  • By entering, the winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity related to the competition, including the use of their name and image in promotional material and on Oxfam Ireland’s social media channels.

8. Data Protection

  • Personal data provided for the competition will be processed in accordance with Oxfam Ireland’s Privacy Policy.
  • Data will be used solely for administering the competition and, where opted in, for receiving further communications from Oxfam Ireland.

9. General

  • Oxfam Ireland reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
  • The decision of Oxfam Ireland regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding.
  • This competition is governed by the laws of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
