FMB/FEB21 | Finance Manager / Belfast Office | 19/02/2021 | 28/02/2021 23:59 | Job Details Maternity Cover - 15 months, 36hrs per week The Role Oxfam are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to cover a period of maternity leave for up to 15 months. During this time, the successful candidate will oversee the management of our Finance team and take responsibility for various financial systems and budgets whilst offering expertise in the auditing of accounts, financial reporting and taxation. The finance team are a high performing and responsive team that provides high standards of corporate services to support the delivery of Oxfams programmes across the globe. This role will be fast paced and demanding, but also incredibly rewarding. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; - Ensuring timely and accurate financial planning, management and monitoring for the organisation including the preparation of monthly management information, accounts, statutory financial and statistical regulations and returns (including VAT); - Provide financial reports and on-going information for grant support applications to governments and institutions etc; - Promote innovation, continuous improvements and assist change management to drive efficiencies within the Finance Team and throughout the organisation; - Support department and organisation wide projects including successful implementation, management and maintenance of all financial systems and other technologies. Essential Criteria In order to be considered for the role, candidates must; - have a relevant professional qualification e.g. CIMA or ACCA; - have managerial experience within a finance discipline, including management and statutory reporting processes; - be experienced in management of a team/staff; and - have a high level of skill in budgeting and forecasting.
