Announcement

After five successful years, Oxfam Ireland is no longer running Fashion Relief initiatives.

Fashion Relief began in 2018 as an events-based initiative and evolved into a retail one during the Covid-19 pandemic, most recently delivering a pop-up shop in Frascati Centre in Blackrock.

Oxfam Ireland already has a thriving trading network across the island of Ireland with 46 shops working to extend the life of clothes and divert as much textiles as possible from landfill and waste. Oxfam’s Fashion Relief pop-up shop at Frascati Centre, Blackrock Dublin is now closed. We will continue to drive our sustainable fashion work through our shops and influencing work, including through campaigns like Second Hand September.

The brand name Fashion Relief will continue under the sole direction of Lorraine Keane from September 2023 onwards and we wish her every success in this new chapter for Fashion Relief.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our sustainable fashion work through Fashion Relief and want to say a big thank you to our staff and volunteers, all of our customers, supporters and donors, and to the influencers and corporate partners.

You have made a significant contribution to Oxfam’s work worldwide, not only by extending the life of clothes but by raising vital funds for communities most impacted by the climate crisis.
