Trailtrekker 2013
25km or 50km event with teams of 3-6

We had our best year yet at Trailtrekker 2013 this summer. Hundreds of inspirational people from all walks of life took on Ireland's stunning Mourne Mountains and achieved something truly incredible this summer.

This year's event took place on Saturday 15th June 2013. Teams of between 3 and 6 people, chose a 25km or 50km Trailtrekker route and raised vital funds to help change the lives of people affected by poverty and injustice around the world.

Here's an account of the Trailtrekker experience by Eamonn, a proud past participant.

"There are definitely a lot of health benefits associated with the event. The training alone has made us fitter and healthier. Also, there is no better way of getting rid of stress than a good long run/hike! I’d definitely recommend anyone to take part in this event. The training alone is so beneficial, and the fact that we can get fit and help Oxfam out in the process makes it all the better."

- Eamon O'Connell, Trailtrekker past participant.
