Festival Volunteers

Are you passionate about changing the world? Do you enjoy attending music festivals and meeting new people? Then Oxfam Ireland has the role for you!

Whether you join us as a volunteer steward, campaigner or bar server, you will be joining a movement of people, united by a love of live music, standing up against injustice and poverty.

As a volunteer steward, you’ll work as low-level security at the events. At some events, we’ll also need volunteers to work as bar servers. In return for the time, festival organisers donate money to Oxfam. As a campaigner, you’ll engage festival-goers with our campaign to support those who have been forced to flee conflict and disaster.

Volunteering with Oxfam Ireland is fun and rewarding. We provide training beforehand and will support you throughout your event. Not only will you get the chance to meet and work with a really great team of volunteers but you will get to enjoy the music during your free time at a festival/event or be guaranteed to see the headline acts at other events.

Please note that all festival volunteers must be over 18 on the day of the event and agree to these standards of behaviour. All festival volunteers will be required to attend training in Oxfam’s office in either Dublin or Belfast in advance of attendance at any festival. Details of each training session will be sent to successful applicants.
