Join us as a PostBack Support Volunteer ready and able to play a key role in the operations and development of Oxfam Ireland’s innovative circular fashion initiative, making it easier for people across the country to donate pre-loved clothes by post. This project supports our commitment to sustainability, textile reuse, and the fight against climate injustice helping reduce waste and promote conscious consumption.
Bring your enthusiasm and team working skills to support everything from business administration to research and event support. Together, we can be a global movement of people challenging inequality to end poverty and injustice for good.
What you will be doing
Supporting shop manager(s) with daily activities by helping to sort, price, prepare and sell, both new and second-hand clothes, books, accessories, furniture and other goods.
- Providing business administrative support
- Responding to Postback doner queries
- Data management & analytics
The skills you need
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently with guidance and support • Good communication skills
- Good administrative skills
- Enthusiastic and an interest in learning
- Patient, flexible and reliable
- Good IT skills
- Ability to recognise when to ask for support or raise concerns if required
- Ability to respect others’ differences and choices
