GIVE NOW. SAVE LIVES.

On March 14 and 15, Cyclone Idai tore through Southern Africa, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Winds of nearly 87 miles per hour destroyed farmlands and damaged houses, some beyond repair.

More than a thousand people are feared to have died, with thousands still missing and millions left destitute without food or basic services. One of the hardest hit areas is Beira, the fourth largest city in Mozambique, with 90 percent of the city under water and communications cut off.

Just weeks after Cyclone Idai, a second devastating cyclone has hit southern Africa on April 25 with hundreds of thousands of people’s lives at risk from catastrophic flooding. We urgently need your help as we continue to deliver emergency aid to those who need it most.

You can help make a difference for survivors. Oxfam is responding with water, sanitation services, food and other aid. Please, donate now to help meet the most critical needs.
