Welcome to Oxfam Ireland’s First World Problems Podcast!

Have you ever wanted to know more about the biggest issues facing the world today?

Well, you’ve come to the right place…

So, what is the First World Problems Podcast?

Last year, we launched our First World Problems campaign to highlight global issues that can affect all of us – no matter where we live. Issues like poverty, inequality, conflict and climate change.

Now, Oxfam Ireland Ambassador Andrew Trimble takes a deep dive into these major issues for our First World Problems Podcast. And the former rugby player grills the experts and Oxfam staff to ask the questions we’d all ask if we had the chance.

Questions like: Does poverty cause inequality or does inequality cause poverty? How do we tackle the climate crisis? What exactly is ODA? You know, the easy stuff.

For the answers, tune into Oxfam Ireland’s First World Problems Podcast.

From the global north to the global south, billions of people are affected by the biggest issues facing our world today – poverty, inequality, discrimination, conflict and climate change.

The only solution to overcome these global problems is to come together as a global community. That has always been the only solution.

There aren’t any #FirstWorldProblems. Just #OneWorld facing global issues that affect us all.
