Making Progress, Changing Lives
The scale of the tsunami's destruction and the enormous public response has made the tsunami aid effort the largest in Oxfam's history. Oxfam's tsunami response is the single- largest humanitarian effort the agency has undertaken in its 63-year history. Oxfam is already helping over one million people rebuild their lives thanks to the unprecedented generosity of ordinary people from around the world.
