While many of us make resolutions to do better in 2008, the EU still hasn't learned from past mistakes: and developing countries are paying the price for its ransom demands.
Thank you if you took action with us before Christmas! Your efforts together with others' helped persuade the Irish and UK governments to register concerns about the way Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) were being negotiated.
Sadly their actions were too little, too late - and while the agreements were less harsh than EU negotiators had initially wanted, developing countries had no alternative but to sign up to damaging deals.
