CORK CITY WELCOMES NEW OXFAM IRELAND FAIRTRADE SHOP

fair trade shop corkThe latest jewel in our Fairtrade crown opened on French Church St, Cork city last December. Cutting the red ribbon on opening day was Lord Mayor Deirdre Klune who gave a brief speech welcoming the new shop into Cork and praising the hard work and dedication of the volunteers who had worked to get the shop opened.

Shop manager Maggie Daly and the volunteer staff had a wonderfully busy Christmas season and the shop performed well above all expectations.

The new Fairtrade shop is currently recruiting volunteers, a great way to get involved in promoting Fair Trade.
