Actúa III International Short Films Festival

Short Film Competition

Are you crafty with a camera? Super with sound? Excellent at editing? More importantly, do you believe that film can help change the world? Find out how

Intermón Oxfam (Oxfam Spain) is seeking entries from Ireland and across the world to the Actua III Short Films Competition. By submitting your short film, you'll be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes from Canon and a trip to the awards ceremony in Madrid at the end of June*.

Held in association with European Film and TV giant Canal+, the theme of this year's festival is "Responsible Consumerism". Your film could be on anything from how to shop (or not) to change the world to a challenge to oil companies on climate change. Check the festival website for a full list of sub-topics and ideas.

Entries from Ireland must arrive no later than the 25th of April. For details of how to enter and terms and conditions, visit the Festival website.

*Oxfam Ireland will pay the travel costs of one winner from the island of Ireland, should an Irish entry be successful. In the event of more than one short film made in Ireland (North or South) winning an award, this prize will be allocated by lottery. All other terms and conditions, including allocation of awards and other prizes, copyrights etc. remain the responsibility of Intermon Oxfam. Please read these carefully on the festival website.
