Festival Fever
Oxfam Ireland is gearing up for its annual visit to the Festival of World Cultures and the Electric Picnic. The Festival of World Cultures is Ireland's largest global music festival with up to 800 musicians and artists gathering in the seaside village of Dun Laoghaire for three days to perform and take part in up to 150 live gigs, performances and events. Oxfam will be in the Global Village - Ireland's largest international market selling its finest range of Fair Trade products.
So come down and sample some global delights and enter a competition to win a hamper with lots of Fair Trade goodies. This year Oxfam is delighted to be associated with the Kingston stage. You can join us, listen to great music and hear all about Oxjam - Oxfam Ireland's very own truly unique D.I.Y. music festival. The Festival of World Cultures takes place from the 22nd to the 24th of August. For more details visit www.festivalofworldcultures.com

Electric Picnic
The Oxfam Ireland shop makes its return to Electric Picnic and will be kitting revellers out in the required festival chic (as well as keeping them warm and dry with blankets and wellies). Our campaigns team will also be on hand with lots of activities (fancy customising those wellies?) to keep everyone busy. And as if there wasn't enough aural goodness floating around Stradbally, we'll also have an open mic set in-tent with some very special guest performers. Electric Picnic kicks off on the 29th of August and runs until the 31st. For more details visit www.electricpicnic.ie
