Climate Change: Take Action Now
Next week, EU leaders will meet and decide Europe’s approach to tackling climate change.
These meetings are Europe's last chance before all-important Copenhagen climate talks in December.
By the end of next week, we should know whether they've chosen a path of climate leadership, whether they are pushing us towards climate disaster - with the world's poorest people left to feel the impacts of global warming first and worst.
Together we can push Europe's leaders in the right direction – towards climate leadership.

Fair Trade
Paying a fair price to farmers, workers and artisans is not only the right thing to do: it is a way out of poverty. As well as selling a great range of Fair Trade products in our shops, Oxfam campaigns for Fair Trade across Ireland.
The latest edition of our Campaigner magazine focuses on the issue of trade and it also folds out to a poster, reminding us to choose Fairtrade products all year round.

Make Trade Fair
International trade is worth $10 million a minute. Through trade people prosper, building a future for their families. Yet millions of people don't have a chance to make a living because the rules of trade are rigged. We still need to Make Trade Fair.

Health and education aren't optional extras in life. We should all have access to decent health and education provision for ourselves and our families. Sadly, many people in the developing world risk being left behind. We believe in health and education for all.
Control Arms
Each year 1/3 of a million people are killed with conventional weapons; enough ammunition is created to shoot every human being on the planet twice. Thanks to weak regulations, governments and arms traders fuel suffering around the world. Arms must be controlled.
