All- Tex Recyclers helps Oxfam Ireland's drive to beat poverty

Oxfam Ireland has recently developed a sustainable corporate partnership with All -Tex Recyclers, a textile recycling and export business based just outside Ballymena in County Antrim .
All-Tex Recyclers has been in business since 1998 and is delighted to have added Oxfam Ireland onto the list of charities it currently works with throughout Ireland .
This partnership may be in its infancy but is designed to raise money both for Oxfam's work to tackle poverty and injustice and to reduce the more than one million tonnes of clothing sent by the public to landfill in the UK and Ireland each year.
To mark the beginning of this corporate partnership, All - Tex Recyclers has sponsored a collection vehicle to Oxfam Ireland which will be used for stock collection and rotation throughout Ireland .
After discussions with Oxfam Ireland over some time it became apparent to All -Tex Recyclers that this leading charity would really benefit from a collection vehicle which would enable Oxfam Ireland to save thousands of euros whilst developing and transporting goods to its shops.
Paula Mc Auley, Business Development Manager with All -Tex Recyclers, stated: "We are delighted to be working with a leading charity like Oxfam Ireland . We hope that this vehicle will provide many benefits and we look forward to developing future schemes in conjunction with our new partners".
Peter Tomlinson, Oxfam Ireland 's Business Development and Projects Manager, said: "Oxfam Ireland looks forward to a long and very successful corporate relationship with All -Tex Recyclers. We are obviously delighted with this generous donation of a new van, which will directly increase our capacity to raise more vital funds and thereby help people suffering poverty and injustice in the developing world."
This new joint venture highlights All -Tex Recyclers' corporate commitment to invest heavily in the charities it supports and the commencement of this partnership will most certainly grow and develop in the months to follow, so watch this space!
