Neil Shawcross gets framed by Oxfam Ireland!
January 2008
You'll need to hurry if you want to get your hands on one of the last remaining screen prints which renowned Northern Ireland-based artist Neil Shawcross has exclusively produced in aid of Oxfam Ireland.
Now down to the last 12 from a limited edition of 50, the 36 inches by 40 inches print features a still life with oranges and has been made on the finest quality hand-made paper. Each one has been signed and numbered by Neil, before being framed in ebony.
Oxfam Ireland Retail Manager Trevor Anderson said of Neil's gift: "These prints will make fantastic Christmas presents, corporate gifts or investment items and are selling fast, so I would recommend anyone who wants one to contact me as soon as possible. It's a fantastic way to raise money for such a great cause."
Neil had the idea for the gift after hearing a close friend discussing his preparations for a 100km fundraising trek in aid of Oxfam.
"I heard him talking and thought, well if he's going to that extent the least I can do is make some sort of effort myself. I have supported Oxfam since the early days and feel that if you can do something you should."
The prints are priced at £375 each and are available by contacting Trevor Anderson at Oxfam Ireland on 028 9089 5967 or by mobile on 07703 344227.
