Oxfam Ireland's Enniskillen shop gets a marvellous makeover
Oxfam Ireland 's shop in Enniskillen has recently been given the makeover treatment! The town centre store, located at 29 Townhall Street , has received an extensive refurbishment and reopened on Tuesday (May 13th).
Originally opened in 1990, the shop's front has received a fab facelift while the shop's interior has also been redecorated and upgraded, with fresh signage, new fittings and a new counter.
Loretta Cullen, Manager of Oxfam Ireland 's Enniskillen shop, said: “This upgrade has ensured a more attractive shopping environment for our many local customers and the many tourists who visit Eniskillen during the summer months. Oxfam is at the hub of the community in Enniskillen and the improvements will benefit people here in Fermanagh. But more significantly, the refit will ultimately benefit the people who need it most, as it will help us raise more funds for our vital work overseas.
“I'm sure we will be able to count on the continued support of the people of Enniskillen to help in the fight against poverty and injustice in the developing world”, Miss Cullen said.
If you would like to play a part, you could donate your unwanted gear to Oxfam Ireland. The shop in Enniskillen stocks donated goods such as clothing, fashion accessories, bric-a-brac, household goods, books and music, as well as new products for the summer in the Oxfamgarden range of seeds and seed mats.
Alternatively, you could also volunteer to help out in the Oxfam Ireland shop. No previous experience is required as full training will be given. For further details contact Loretta on 028 6632 4702.
