Oxfam Vintage set to star among glitterati at forthcoming Belfast Fashion shows

This Autumn Oxfam Vintage will be mixing with Belfast 's haute couture elite by taking to the catwalk at not one, but two leading style events.
Firstly Oxfam Ireland will showcase its Vintage clothing department at the Magners Light Fall for Fashion event at St Georges Market on September 30th and October 1st 2008. During the Vintage section of the opening night show, entitled ‘Something Old, Something New', top stylists Alex Smith and Sara O'Neill will prove that looking good does not have to cost the earth, with one-off pieces from popular vintage boutiques including Oxfam.
Tickets for Fall for Fashion cost £10 and are available at Belfast Welcome Centre, www.fallforfashion.com or phone 028 9024 6609. Profits from ticket sales will be donated to The Rape Crisis Centre.
Oxfam Ireland is also proudly adding its name to the line-up of retailers exhibiting at the forthcoming Belfast FASHIONWEEK for Autumn 2008, which runs from 16-18th October . Oxfam Ireland 's shop in Castle Street , Belfast , will be showcasing fashions from its Vintage department during the opening night at the Baby Grand in the Grand Opera House.

The news that Oxfam Ireland will exhibiting at this season's fashion events in Belfast follows the organisation's involvement with the recent Redress / Fashion Evolution event in Dublin.
Oxfam Vintage is available at Oxfam shops in Castle Street , Belfast and Georges Street in Dublin .
