NEW! Fair Trade and Environmentally Friendly Soapnuts
SOAPNUTS : Sapindus Mulcorosse) is a 100% natural cleaner that has been used for centuries in Nepal and India. Their shell contains a substance called 'saponius' which, when added to water, gives up a soapy substance (saponin). They are best known as a natural laundry detergent, but when made into a liquid can be used to wash anything from bodies, hair and pets to your house, dishes and even your car!
Clear advantages compared to conventional detergents
- 100% natural, no chemicals
- Perfect for people with allergies, dermatitis, sensitive skin and for children
- Non-biological, won't fade colours, can be used on silk and wool
- Eco friendly - 100% organic, biodegradable and compostable and are taken from re-newable tree sources, won't pollute water sources
- Effective cleaning - washes as well as conventional detergents and no need for fabric softener - lovely fresh smell. May need fabric bleach on whites after repeated washes.
- Economical - up to 50% cheaper! Soapnuts can be re-used up to 3 times and so are clearly much cheaper than using conventional detergents. Also small to store and carry!
