Whether you bought a size too small, a shade too dark, or splashed out on a whim, we all have clothes, cds and homewares that we don’t use.
Don’t just leave them to gather dust or go out of fashion – do yourself, and others, real good and simply CLEARURGEAR by donating them to an Oxfam shop today! It’s easy!
What we need
Cds, clothes, accessories, teapots, furniture, books, vases and ornaments – you name it, we can sell it.
Just remember we’re looking for quality goods. It actually costs Oxfam Ireland £3/€5 to dispose of one bag of unsaleable books!
CDs and vinyl may be a thing of the past for you, but they could unlock the door to the future for many of the world’s poorest people.
By giving Oxfam Ireland the CDs, albums and singles you no longer listen to, you could make a real difference.
How to donate your goods
Take your goods to your nearest Oxfam shop.
Organise a collection in your workplace and bring it to your nearest shop, or contact us and we’ll come to collect it from your workplace.
Use Oxfam Ireland’s Book Banks and Clothing Banks at your local Recycling Centre or bottle bank.
Look out for Oxfam Ireland staff and volunteers at your local Park ‘n’ Ride where we will be handing out collection bags.
How you’re helping

5 paperbacks = schoolbooks for one Tanzanian child for an entire year

1 vase = 3 life-saving buckets, specially designed to keep water safe and clean
An extra two million donated items could generate an estimated additional €1,500,000. This would be enough to cover the entire annual cost of Oxfam Ireland’s overseas programme in Uganda, where initiatives include preparing communities to cope with natural disasters; improving access to water and sanitation in villages; building long-term livelihoods; and working to reduce the incidence of HIV and AIDS.
Do you run a business? There are many ways that you can help to gather donations for Oxfam Ireland.
