How does it work?
I'm the parent of the birthday child:
Once you and your child have decided you would like to take part in Pass the Present, Oxfam Ireland will send you some invite letters, donation forms and freepost envelopes to give to party-goers and their parents. The invite letter will explain how Pass the Present works.
The guests then fill out the donation form and send it directly to Oxfam Ireland.
Your child receives the Puzzle Pack soon after, including Thank You cards to give to the guests who donated.
I need to buy a birthday present for a child - I'd like to Pass the Present:
If you would like to take part in this way, you can:
donate online - make a donation over the phone
- receive a donation form and freepost envelope in the post
If you would like to include an "I've passed the present for you" slip in the child's birthday card you can download it here. Alternatively, we can send one to you in the post.
The birthday boy or girl will receive the Puzzle Pack soon after their birthday, including a letter explaining that you have 'Passed the Present' on their behalf.
