Klaxons support Oxjam launch!
Oxjam begins!
Check out these stats - Oxjam will be twice as big this year with around 40,000 musicians and an audience of 300,000 expected to take part in 3,000 music events in October for Oxjam - the biggest music festival ever in the UK. We need more people involved now to organise an event in time for October to help raise a total more than £1 million to help end poverty.
Oxjam is a music festival with a difference - you make it happen. The thousands of events put on by music lovers - from large-scale festivals to local sponsored busks - during October will produce the equivalent of 500 days of continuous music, all raising money for Oxfam.
Klaxons are nice. They gave Oxjam an exclusive photo shoot backstage at their recent gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Stay tuned as the band will be doing some other stuff for Oxjam later in the year.
