March 18th, 2010 · No Comments

On Saturday 27th March, Crawdaddy will be the venue for a show called “A Gig For Haiti: An evening of music and comedy for relief in Haiti“. The gig is the brainchild of Dublin indie musician Rob Smith.
“I just felt I had to do something” said Smith “and I thought to myself I may aswell put on a good show, raise some cash and have a super night in the process.”

On the bill that evening is Vyvienne Long, The Last Tycoons, Rob Smith and Sweet Jane all performing special acoustic sets with stand up comedy from Aidan Bishop and Shane Langan. Admission is only €10 and all profits go to Oxfam Ireland to help aid in Haiti. Doors are 8pm. The show will presented by Near FM’s Jacqui Carroll.
