Oxfamgarden : Grow for Africa

The City of Armagh High School Learning Support Centre got involved in Oxfamgarden in July 2004.

Eleven children from the Learning Support Centre converted the school greenhouse into an Oxfam garden. They grew bedding plants and shrubs and sold them to staff and pupils, raising £160.

Their teacher Miss Greer said: "The pupils have gained valuable practical skills and enjoyed the physical aspects of the Project, particularly seeing the flowers bloom."
