Peter Tomlinson, Oxfam Ireland 's Business Development and Projects Manager, recently presented a Certificate of Thanks to James Toland and Christopher Faloon to mark the Armagh pupils' fantastic efforts to help Oxfam Ireland 's vital work to overcome poverty in the developing world.

Peter Tomlinson said: ” Oxfamgarden is aimed at getting experienced gardeners and enthusiastic amateurs alike involved in raising plants and funds to help the world's poorest people. The wonderful work of James, Christopher and others enables Oxfam Ireland to raise funds twice over, as many people generously buy the seeds, grow the flowers and then donate their plants to local Oxfam Ireland shops to be put back on sale.”

The Oxfamgarden range of products (including seed mats, seed shakers, window boxes and baskets) are available for sale in all Oxfam Ireland ' s donated and Fair Trade shops .
