

Oxfam Ireland has a commitment to recycling, and with this in mind, we contacted councils to see if they had surplus supplies of flower pots and 4/6 pack trays which we could use in our Oxfamgarden projects.
Dungannon Council agreed to donate pots, trays and plants to Oxfamgarden. The Mayor of Dungannon Council, Francie Molloy, held a civic reception in November for Oxfamgarden volunteers from Willowbank in the Council Chambers. Carrickfergus Council and Down District Council have also donated items.
Peter Tomlinson, Oxfam Ireland Business Development and Project Manager, said: "It's great to see councils supporting this joint venture between Oxfam Ireland and Willowbank Community Resource Centre. With their continued support this project can only go from strength to strength."
