'Poems for 2007' calendar competition

Oxfambooks is delighted to announce this year's poetry calendar competition. The 'Poems for 2007' calendar will feature poems by guest poets John F. Deane, Rita Ann Higgins, Nick Laird, Mary O Donnell, Caitriona O'Reilly and Peter Sirr. The six remaining poems will come from the winners of the poetry competition.

The deadline for the entry is June 30th. Proceeds from the competition and calendar will fund Oxfam Ireland 's vital overseas work. Last years competition raised €5000.

Entry forms and rules are available at www.oxfamireland.org or by sending a s.a.e. to Oxfam books, 23 Parliament St. , Dublin 2.
