Oxfam’s latest report, Climate shame: get back to the table, is a review of the outcomes of the recent Copenhagen climate summit.
The report highlights the shortcomings and missed opportunities which will send repercussions among the world’s poorest people who are already suffering the devastating effects of climate change.
World leaders are called to be more involved in the negotiations and the report wants more ministerial meetings to be held before the Mexico climate summit in December 2010. There is also a need for the climate science to be updated so that any future deal meets what is required to tackle climate change.
